Walleye and perch are being caught mid reservoir between Hole Hole in the Wall to Confederate and Duck Creek in 35-45 feet of water while using jigging spoons, Jiggin' Raps or Tungston Wax tails. Stonefly nymphs, Worms, Caddis Larva, Baetis, soft hackles and larger mayfly attractors are all working well subsurface. Fishing is allowed west of Newton Creek while the rest of the river is closed to protect spawning native Yellowstone cutthroats, rainbows, and cutbows.
